Comfort, faith, confidence – these are the ingredients that make up Johann Sebastian Bach's music. Christian Tetzlaff will give the audience a full dose of Bach on October 3 with two concerts in a row, when the leading violinist of our time performs Bach's complete works for solo violin – the six sonatas and partitas – in the fitting sacred space of Kronberg's Johanniskirche.

An orchestra as diverse as our society: musicians of different nationalities and backgrounds join forces in the Bridges Chamber Orchestra—and with their stylistic diversity, they transcend all boundaries of musical genres! In its rousing program “Vibrant times for groovy people,” the ensemble spans the spectrum from Vivaldi to modern compositions. Also featured: global instruments such as the pan flute and the Iranian santur. This is where transcultural art is created! Since September 2022, the Bridges Chamber Orchestra has been the orchestra in residence at the Casals Forum of the Kronberg Academy.

Concentrated Berlin Philharmonic power at the Casals Forum: Diyang Mei, principal violist of the Berlin Philharmonic, is an impressive example of the prominent positions held by graduates of the Kronberg Academy in the music world. Together with his colleague Noah Bendix-Balgley, principal concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, and star cellist Kian Soltani, the violist will perform trio works by Beethoven, Kókai, and Dohnányi in the Carl Bechstein Hall – because all good things come in threes.
