2026/2027 Kronberg Festival - K4

STRAHLKRAFT

This concert tells a story that could hardly be more relevant to our time.

The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine brings together young musicians whose homeland has been profoundly shaped by war. That they continue to make music, travel and perform together turns every concert into a powerful expression of hope and a belief in the future. The orchestra has found a home at the Casals Forum, where its annual appearances have become a much-anticipated highlight.

On the podium is Oksana Lyniv, the first woman ever to conduct at the Bayreuth Festival and today one of Europe’s leading conductors. Together with the highly acclaimed cellist Johannes Moser, she presents a programme that unites lyrical intensity with symphonic grandeur.

Lalo’s passionate Cello Concerto is paired with Mozart’s radiant “Jupiter” Symphony – a work that continues to stand as a testament to artistic daring and visionary power. A concert that transforms the spirit of “Courage!” into music.
