Concert without intermission
Violinist Lisa Batiashvili has unfortunately had to cancel her appearance at the Kronberg Festival for health reasons. We are delighted that Veriko Tchumburidze has agreed to step in at short notice.
This evening at the Casals Forum, the focus will be on a musical culture that is still relatively unknown to us: that of Georgia. The miniatures for violin and strings by Georgian composer Sulkhan Tsintsadze are little musical gems whose lively folk music elements evoke positive emotions and strengthen the sense of community. In addition, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, conducted by Oksana Lyniv, will delight audiences with Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 4 in E minor.
