Praised for her “seductive artistry” and “rare grace” (Classical Voice North America), violinist Clara Neubauer is a recipient of the Peter Mennin Prize for Outstanding Achievement and Leadership in Music from The Juilliard School and the Ana Chumachenco Award from the Kronberg Academy Festival. A passionate chamber musician, Clara has appeared at festivals such as the Marlboro Music Festival, Caramoor, Ravinia, Taos School of Music, Music@Menlo, Four Seasons, Music from Angel Fire, and the Olympic Music Festival, performing with artists such as Mitsuko Uchida, Itzhak Perlman, Donald Weilerstein, Christoph Richter, and Itamar Zorman. Highlights of this season include appearances with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, an international tour with Musicians from Marlboro, and recitals in the United States and Canada. Born on September 11, 2001, Clara can be heard as the voice on the audio guide at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum alongside Robert De Niro. Clara studied at The Juilliard School as a recipient of The Kovner Fellowship and was a student of Li Lin, Itzhak Perlman, and Catherine Cho. During her time at Juilliard, Clara served as concertmaster of The Juilliard Orchestra, including a performance at David Geffen Hall with Maestro Gustavo Dudamel.
