Concentrated Berlin Philharmonic power at the Casals Forum: Diyang Mei, principal violist of the Berlin Philharmonic, is an impressive example of the prominent positions held by graduates of the Kronberg Academy in the music world. Together with his colleague Noah Bendix-Balgley, principal concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, and star cellist Kian Soltani, the violist will perform trio works by Beethoven, Kókai, and Dohnányi in the Carl Bechstein Hall – because all good things come in threes.
