At the close of the Cello Meisterkurse comes a concert whose programme only takes shape over the course of the shared work.

In public masterclasses, young musicians have gained new perspectives, questioned interpretations and refined their own artistic voices. „Entdeckungen“ brings selected results of this intensive process to the stage of the Carl Bechstein Saal.

Precisely because the works and line-up are only decided at short notice, the evening retains a particular sense of discovery: it responds directly to what has emerged during the masterclasses. Audiences encounter young talents at a moment of artistic departure – focused, curious and ready to take risks.
